This Canadian public sector agency has more than 7,500 employees. While S.i. Systems had been working with them for four years, the organisation determined there was a new need for a comprehensive enterprise infrastructure upgrade.
Challenge
Between 2016 and 2019, our client had requirements for over 75 consultants to augment their Enterprise PMO with professionals that could provide services on both strategic and tactical levels.
Solution
In 2016, we were selected through a competitive RFP process to recruit and staff project management professionals for a variety of initiatives related to data centres, IT service management, cyber security, and cloud adoption.
In addition to successfully managing day-to-day work on a wide variety of network, infrastructure, application modernization, cyber security, and cloud projects, S.i.’s project management consultants implemented and standardized the client’s Project Portfolio Management (PPM) framework and related tools, and used ADKAR and Lean business process improvement methodologies to improve business and change management practices across the organization.
Outcomes
Over 3 years, S.i. deployed 75+ unique Project Administrators, Schedulers, Managers and Executives to work in the EPMO, surpassing client expectations.
